Last updated: May 4, 2026

Notelit is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user. Notelit operates under GDPR and applicable EU data protection law.

We collect only the data necessary to provide the service: your email address for authentication, your notes and journal entries (stored securely in Supabase), and basic usage analytics via PostHog to improve the product. We never sell your data or use your notes to train AI models.

What we collect

  • Email address and authentication tokens (for sign-in via Supabase)
  • Note content and journal entries (stored encrypted)
  • Google Calendar data if you connect your calendar (read-only access)
  • Usage analytics (page views, feature interactions) via PostHog EU servers
  • Images you upload (stored on Cloudflare R2 with unguessable keys)

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from the settings page. To exercise your rights or ask questions, contact us at info@notelit.app.
